3月30日建艺学院组织开展以“BIM技术在建筑领域的前沿发展趋势及实例应用”为主题的在线讲座。学院建筑学2010级校友、美国绿色建筑认证LEED专家、美国建筑师协会委员、KPF建筑事务所纽约总部BIM项目负责人张亚菲受邀进行讲授。

       张亚菲介绍了BIM技术的概念和应用领域，结合她在KPF建筑事务所工作的实际经验，为学生们讲解了多个BIM项目的应用实例。KPF是全球顶级的建筑事务所，在全世界范围内设计了超过200座已建成的高层和超高层建筑，包括592.5米的深圳平安金融中心、528米的中信大厦(中国尊)、492米的上海环球金融中心等。她通过介绍项目的背景、BIM技术的应用方法和效果等方面，深入浅出地展示了BIM在建筑设计、施工和运营方面的实用价值。她表示BIM技术能够实现建筑设计、施工、运营全过程的数字化管理，能够提高建筑项目的效率和质量，减少资源浪费和环境污染。

       在讲座的互动环节中，张亚菲与师生探讨了BIM技术在智慧城市建设、工业化建造、大数据应用等领域的应用前景，对于学生关心的BIM技术的最新技术和应用实践等问题她进行了详细解答。学生们在讲座中积极参与互动，并表示通过分享，对于BIM技术的应用领域、未来发展趋势以及实际应用有了更加深入的理解和认识。

       本次讲座作为学院“开学第一课”教育引导活动之一，为本研学生提供了一个了解国际建筑行业前沿技术和实践经验的机会，得到了参与师生高度认可和赞誉。张亚菲在BIM领域的专业知识以及她在KPF的实践经验，为BIM技术在实际项目落地提供了宝贵的意见。参与学生表示，他们将继续学习和探索BIM技术在建筑领域的应用，为将来的职业生涯发展做好充分的准备。

The School of Architecture and Design, Beijing Jiaotong University, held an online lecture on “Frontier Development and Practical Applications of Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology in the Architectural Field" on March 30th, 2023. Yafei Zhang, an alum who graduated with the Class of 2010, LEED Accredited Professional (Specialize in Building Design + Construction), Associate of the American Institute of Architects, and a Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) BIM Team Leader, was invited to participate.

Zhang Yafei delivered an outstanding frontier lecture on the application fields of BIM technology. With her critical skillset and professional practical experience working at KPF, one of the world's most prominent architectural firms, she demonstrated multiple BIM project examples to showcase the practical value of BIM technology. KPF has designed more than 200 high-rise buildings globally, including the 592.5-meter Shenzhen Ping An Financial Center, the 528-meter CITIC Tower, the 492-meter Shanghai World Financial Center, etc. Due to Yafei’s critical knowledge in this area, she thoroughly explained that BIM technology can achieve digital management of the entire architectural design, construction, and operation process, which can enhance project efficiency, quality, and reduce resource waste and environmental pollution.

In the Q&A Session, she led conversations about the application prospects of BIM technology in smart city design, industrialized construction, and big data applications. She shared the latest technology and application practices of BIM technology and answered questions from teachers and students. The students actively participated in the interaction, gaining a deeper understanding of BIM in the application fields, future development trends, and practical applications.

This lecture was a valuable opportunity for students to learn about the frontier BIM technology and practical experience in the international architectural industry. It was highly recognized and praised by participating professors and students. The professors viewed this as a rewarding lecture to be a part of. We commend Yafei for leading this prized lecture and for sharing her critical knowledge with our students. Yafei's expertise in BIM technology and her critical knowledge base was evident, and her practical experience at KPF provided valuable insights into the application of BIM technology in real-world scenarios. This lecture inspired students to continue studying and exploring BIM technology in the architectural field to prepare for future career development.
