The graduation ceremony of the 2024 Seminar on Urban Planning and Public Transportation for Malaysia, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by Beijing Jiaotong University, was completed on October 23, 2024. After 14 days of course training, exchange and discussion, and on-site teaching, 28 students from Malaysia have completed the seminar.

       At the graduation ceremony, professor She Gaohong, vice president of the School of Architecture and Design of Beijing Jiaotong University, made a concluding speech. Ms.Wang Yuxuan, a city councilor of Penang and director of Penang Green Agency, introduced the sustainable development plan for city transportation in Penang. And Mr. Zhang Yugang, special executive officer of the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, Mr. Wang Wenhao, special assistant of the Ministry of Transport Malaysia,  Mr. Chen Diyuan, councilor of Selangor City, and Mr. Zhang Weihong, councilor of Penang City, gave the conclusion speech on behalf of the all delegation. They expressed their sincere thanks to the organizers in terms of the thoughtful arrangement throughout the seminar and believed that the study of China's urban planning, construction, and governance experience would be helpful and fully applied to their future work, which will promote friendly exchanges with China and make a greater contribution to the win-win cooperation between two countries.
