On the morning of January 5, 2022, Guo Xuemeng, director of the Outreach Department, and her delegation went to the Architecture and Design to visit. Han Bing, Dean of School of Architecture and Design, Qin Siyang, Secretary of the Party Committee, and members of the School team attended the seminar.

Guo Xuemeng introduced the department settings, responsibilities and positioning of the Outreach Department and its recent work, and hoped to provide professional advice and technical support for the School of Architecture and Design in giving full play to its professional advantages, leading the cultural atmosphere of first-class universities and expanding the social reputation of the discipline, as well as providing good services.

On behalf of the School, Dean Han Bing welcomed the visit of the Outreach Office and expressed his gratitude to the Outreach Office for helping the development of the School. He introduced the developments of the School in recent years, especially the work in urban renewal and rural revitalization, and said that the outreach work of the School will always focus on the overall development of the university, and lead the cultivation of talents and discipline development with cultural construction.

Qin Siyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, said that the School is at the opportunity of the 14th Five-Year Plan development and the discipline development is showing a prosperous scene. The School will continue to adhere to the "handful" project of outreach work, focus on the national strategy, gather the strength of all parties, continuously improve the level of social services, and win a wider reputation for the school and the School.

Liu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the School of Architecture and Design, reported on the overall situation of the School's outreach work, the difficulties and priorities of the work as well as the direction of efforts, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development of campus culture and creativity, cultivation of alumni sentiment, exploration of social services and expansion of fund-raising channels.
