On the morning of January 22, 2025, the 23rd Chinese traditional festival of the twelfth lunar month, Jianyi College held a "Golden Snake Sends Blessings, Welcomes the New Year" event in the reading room on the first floor to express condolences to students staying in school during the winter vacation and write Spring Festival couplets to send blessings. Qin Siyang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Han Bing, Dean of the College, Liu Ping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Zhang Ye, Vice President, and some faculty representatives, representatives of overseas students staying in winter vacation and representatives of Chinese students attended the event.

      On behalf of the college, Qin Siyang expressed condolences to the representatives of international students and Chinese students who stayed in the winter vacation. She said that schools and colleges are very concerned about the study and living conditions of students staying in school during the winter vacation. Today is the Chinese traditional festival New Year. She hopes that teachers and students can write Spring Festival couplets together, so that students can feel the Chinese New Year's customs and experience the charm of Chinese excellent traditional culture!

      Then the activities of writing Spring Festival couplets and sending blessings were carried out. Accompanied by festive and cheerful music, Mr. Pan Xi from the Department of Architecture, Mr. Chen Lu from the Department of Urban and Rural Planning, and Mr. Zhang Peng from the Department of Design presented personal tailor's exclusive Spring Festival couplets and blessings to students and teachers. Teachers Pan Xi and Zhang Peng patiently explained the writing methods of Chinese calligraphy to overseas students, and learned about the traditional custom of writing blessings and pasting Spring Festival couplets. The overseas students who participated in the activity together experienced Chinese traditional culture together, and the scene was full of laughter and fun. Teacher Chen Lu wrote the 2025 Spring Festival couplets for the college.
