From April 19th to 20th, a seminar on urban planning and construction in French-speaking African countries (hereinafter referred to as the "seminar") sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by Beijing Jiaotong University visited the company for research and exchange.

      The participants in the seminar are from Congo (DRC), Gabon, Burundi, Mauritius, Tunisia and Burkina Faso.       Liu Yanqing thanked Chongqing Design Institute for its support for the research and exchange of the seminar, and introduced the basic situation of the seminar, as well as the development history, discipline advantages, and talent training of Beijing Jiaotong University. She pointed out that in recent years, Beijing Jiaotong University has held nearly 20 short-term seminars on urban planning, discussing with more than 400 officials from all over the world how to make cities smarter, greener and more sustainable, and sharing China's experience. She hopes that through this exchange, she will reach cooperation with Chongqing Design Institute in scientific research and international business development in the field of urban and rural construction.

He hoped that governments and enterprises of various countries would strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Chongqing Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission and Chongqing Design Institute, focus on urban renewal, rural construction, construction industry and other fields, explore cooperation models in engineering standards, technological innovation, project construction, etc., and contribute to the housing and urban-rural construction industry strength to enhance the well-being of Chinese and African people.

      As the representative of the seminar, Musangu Mulumba Alan expressed his gratitude to Chongqing Design Institute for its warm reception. He introduced the national composition and trainees of the seminar, and focused on the problems encountered in the process of urban construction in Africa, mainly reflected in how to balance urban modernization with environmental protection. He hoped to learn from the experience of urban construction in China and provide reference schemes for urban construction in African countries. He looks forward to exploring new models of international cooperation with Chongqing Design Institute in urban construction and power facility construction to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

      Kang Jun, the company's chief architect and head of the production and operation center, made a special report on "Integrated Service Solution for Urban and Rural Construction", focusing on the company's five major product systems and focusing on the company's key projects in the field of urban and rural construction.

      During this period, the training class conducted on-site investigations on the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Hall, Western (Chongqing) Science City Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Center, Fengqi Lakeside, Gaoyuan Tianyiludao Hotel and other projects designed by the company.
